At the Thompson Exercise Studio, the Thompson Method is taught only by professional dancers of athletes. The emphasis is on the individual in all classes. All instructors are trained to correct faulty exercise techniques; to diagnose individual injuries and weaknesses; and motivate all our clients to a higher level of fitness and general well being.

The Stretch Program
The Technique is the basis of the Thompson method. A one hour program that consists of specially designed exercises that stretch, tone and condition muscles that most exercise programs do not begin to address. The emphasis in the program is on flexibility of all the muscles, joint mobility, abdominal, hip, buttock and thigh strength and proper alignment. Until now this type of exercise training was limited to dancers and gymnasts.

The Strength Program
This program is half hour of resistance weight training. Designed to develop overall muscular strength, strength training will increase bone density, and prevent osteoporosis while increasing muscle tone and definition.

The Stamina Program
This program is half hour of cardiovascular training. We combine step and sport/dance aerobics with the most unique choreography anywhere. These classes will increase your stamina for all sports activities; keep your vascular system hearty; and burn fat.
