IGNiTE Indoor Season 2024-25

IGNiTE is the first step in Grand Slam's Hitting Hot Junior Pathway. With the right size equipment, young players learn faster and love tennis forever! Our main goal is to start young players on their journey of learning to play tennis well! Grand Slam's IGNiTE Junior Tennis Programs for ages 3-11; check out our programs for Tennis Whizz, Red, Orange and Green level play.

IGNiTE Indoor Season - September 9, 2024 - April 27, 2025
Classes will not meet on Thanksgiving Day (11/28) and during the Holiday Break (12/24-1/1/25).

CLUB STRAND

For players whose aspirations include learning the game and understanding the FUNdamentals. All classes are 1 hour long (except Whizz) and meet 1 class/week.

  Tennis Whizz   – Introduction to tennis & basic motor skill development, while building the love for the game with weekly themed lesson

  Red Ball 36'   – Basic stroke development, tracking skills & beginner rallies on 36ft court

  Orange Ball 60'   - Learn to serve, rally, play & score on 60ft court

  Green Ball 78'   - Improving stroke consistency & tactical play on a full tennis court (78ft)

PLAYER STRAND

For players who want to fully engage in tennis and have aspirations to play competitively from young age. Requires 2 classes/week and IGNiTE Director's approval.

  Team Red   - Building sound fundamentals & athletic skills on a 36ft court; Introduction to tactical play & competition

  Team Orange   - Learning to compete on the 60ft court; Start to improve fundamentals

  Team Green   - For advanced players who want to compete; Learning to play well from all parts of the court

All IGNiTE PLAYERS ENJOY:
   Complimentary weekly practice – Fridays, 5:30-6:30
   IGNiTE Tour and practice events
   FUEL Points Challenge with rewards and prizes
   TWO student progress reports (December and April)
